"I Granai" is not just a new proposal by Marea Stays: it is an authentic charming residence, expertly renovated to combine historical charm with the needs of modern comfort. A place where the ancient soul of Salento architecture meets elegance, relaxation and uniqueness.
Located on the ground floor in a very central position, the structure opens onto an air-conditioned veranda that serves as an entrance and relaxation area, a prelude to the bright living area with sofa bed (standard mattress 80x190), equipped kitchenette and dining table.
An elegant handcrafted iron staircase leads to the mezzanine where there is a reading area and a workstation. The bedroom, on the other hand, is housed in a suggestive barrel-vaulted alcove, intimate and welcoming.
The absolute highlight is the exclusive bathroom: an environment of pure well-being that houses an in-ground bathtub with a double whirlpool and chromotherapy, as well as an extra-large shower also perfect for use as a couple.
The historical value of the residence is evident and palpable: from the two barrel vaults, to the star vault, to the nerine arch typical of the area, up to the ancient underground granaries of the 1300s, which give name and soul to the entire structure.
